| i have some serious peter pan issues going on. with the lack of desire to get old. but with that comes the intense need for freedom and independence.
sometimes it worries me that idont really like parts of myself, im not sure when i became this person. but i dont dislike them enough to put in the effort to change and convince 'you' that im still worthy. worthy of what? i have no idea.
at work today, outside with the kids. noticed that the leaves are changing, got to thinking about change, thought maybe i should change too. then i realized that the tree rejects the leaves, sends them falling to the ground where they land alone and rejected, are then raked into suffocating bags and placed on a curb for someone to haul away with that day's garbage. maybe i shouldnt change afterall.
